That kept me up all night with the shining light!
Nice image.

Great photo! What focal length is it? I'd like to make a start with astrophotography, but can't seem to figure out the best kit.

I've got a 300mm lens at the moment. Was considering an extension tube, but not too sure. What did you use or what could you recommend?

Cheers

This was 200mm, 200ISO, 125th/sec, F3.5 with minor adjustments in Photoshop.

I recommend removing any filters from the lens to avoid ghosts. You should get some great shots with the 300mm. Haven't used any extension tubes so I can't really recommend any ;)

Great! Thanks a lot for the advice and info. Had a crack last night when I was at a fireworks display. Will put it on my blog anyhoo (probably tomorrow though).

Thanks again!
