Amaryllis bloom...

After a few weeks of the stalk getting ever so tall and rotations of the box it is planted in to straighten the plant from bending toward the window to reach for the sunlight our office amaryllis has bloomed! And what a beauty it is.

I have posted desktop images in the past and formatted them at 1024x768 pixels to accommodate standard monitors. Tonights images will fit on those screens also but are formatted for wide screen monitors. Click the first three images for 1152x768 pixel images.

Growth...

Quickly skyward bound.
Flower reaches to the clouds.
Damp ground secures life.

When it blooms I will share some updated photos.
