From a distance I thought I was looking at a frog.

Looking back...
This past Memorial Day I took Devon to the town parade and honored our veterans.

Families and friends lined the main thoroughfare to cheer at the procession.

The weather was beautiful and the patriotism rang loudly.

Our future protectors were on hand and in formation.

The pipes were played...

...and the drums were pounded.

Our veterans marched...

...they marched proudly and remembered those left behind. They remembered their fallen brothers and sisters.

They honor and defend our nation; promise to serve for its betterment...

...and protect those that can't protect themselves.

Our veterans deserve more than one day a year. When you see one shake their hand and thank them for all they have given and all they have done for you. God bless them all.
