WIIF? #118

Tatman MacGuyvered his way to a win with nothing more that a toothpick, tweezers and a little ingenuity.

Here is What Is It Friday? #118

Jason blew away this off season "WIIF?". My neighbor found this vintage thrower in someones garbage and resurrected it. They don't build 'em like this anymore.

The fine print: On Fridays I will post an image in hopes that visitors will leave a guess in the comment section. The following Friday (or when someone guesses correctly) I will post a wide shot of the item. Each Friday a NEW image, along with a link to the previous weeks post, will be posted.

WIIF? #117

Rachel and Fenway threw their fists in the air and waved them like they just didn't care.

Here is What Is It Friday? #117

Tatman has the tools to win this game. Looks like I need to step it up again ;)

All natural...

While growing up I always remember my big brother eating well and pumping iron. As a teenager he began winning competitions and continued until his enrollment in the military. After his service was complete he dove back in to the gym and rose through the ranks to become Mr. Rhode Island and then the all natural U.S.A. title holder in 1991.

The trophies fill a corner and the photos are many... but who would have thought that a Google search would find a video clip from ESPN from eighteen years ago? It used to be 15 minutes of fame. Current technology extends that ten fold... and when you least expect it.

'scuse me while I kiss the sky...

No birds... just bees...

Click them all... but click the last picture for a super sized desktop image! If you look closely you will notice there are more than two bees there. Not very monogamous if you ask me.

WIIF? #116

Last week, Rebecca got her second win in a row!

Here is What Is It Friday? #116

Rachel guessed it correctly and Fenway solidified the answer. We did a lot of gardening yesterday. Come back tomorrow to see the mating bees! No joke!

Your vote is needed... more than ever!

WASHINGTON ROAD needs more votes!
Spread the word! Help WASHINGTON ROAD win!

Years ago I worked on some low budget films with a director that became a good friend of mine. One of more recent films is in a contest and your vote is needed.

Here is a link to vote for his film WASHINGTON ROAD. His film has been chosen to compete in REEL 13 Shorts Contest by WNET. The contest runs from today until Thursday. If he wins, WASHINGTON ROAD will be show on TV on Saturday night on WNET and his daughter's college account can grow a little.

I'm bringing it back...

"Dude, check out that car! It's MINT!
"I heard a new Indy flick is in the works. MINT!
"What do ya think about those chicks we met the other night?
Pretty MINT!

Oops... no one caught my error. The above is actually raspberry... big oops.

WIIF? #115

Rebecca "stuck" with the guesses and got last weeks "WIIF?"!

Here is What Is It Friday? #115

Rebecca is on a flight... I mean roll... with two wins in a row! The above portion is just below and to the right of the top wing.

R/C body mod...

The truck body is nice... but you can see that anywhere online.

I dropped on this chopped '49 Merc that was used on my old electric R/C over 20 years ago.

The way I drive... it won't last long.

I already had a nasty flip that bent one of the aluminum parts. I'll get better... I hope. :(

OK, enough of the new toy. I'll get back to nature after tomorrow's "WIIF?". I have some great new pictures in store for you.

R/C A.D....

After running the car for one day and breaking in the engine (as well as a plastic part) I ordered an aluminum kit.

Should be stronger... and it's needed... this thing is FAST!!!

Up next... body upgrade...
