Yeah Karen, they are all over Long Island now. Some by private owners (I saw on on a person's front lawn in Garden City) and others at businesses (Bethpage Federal Credit Union) and Colleges (This Skull-pture was at Hofstra University). I've posted a few on my blog these past couple of years :) As I find more that are interesting I'll add them to the blog.

Wow! I've seen these painted horse statues before, but this one is my favorite by far. Plus, Skull-A-Day rocks. Thanks!
That is so cool !!
Is this one of the life size ponies in the 'Painted Ponies' series ?
I've been drooling over some of the minature painted ponies that they have..
That's pretty flippin' awesome!

Wow interesting horse sculptures.
Thanks for sharing.
That's cool!!!
That would be an unusual lawn sculpture for sure. But hey! I sure would make it easy for telling visitors how to identify your house.

Down here it was painted cows. I like the horses. Thanks!
so gorgeous Sandy
Kind of creepy. But very cool too. I like it.
I smiled after seeing the teeth...
Perfect pic for Preakness Day!
Wow! What a great statue. Although it's smile somewhat scares me. I'm glad I have the real, unpainted, ones running around here.
Very unusual sculpture. It must have taken ages to do.
Nice shots.
