BB desktop...

A few weeks ago, the "WIIF?" looked good enough to use as a desktop composition. Maybe I'll do real bullets next. Click away...

Meet Up Long Island...

As of this coming Saturday I will have been posting daily for two years. I recently signed up for a photography meetup group and went to my first gathering at a local art museum. I met some great people and some phenomenal photographers. We walked around the grounds and saw many sculptures and I have a bunch of photos. I'll be sharing them throughout this week and posting the year-end video after the Saturday blog post.

"I'm a little jockey, short and stout..."

"Our heart belongs to dance."

"I pledge allegiance..."

"I won a cupie doll!"

"It's full of stars!"

"Mummy looks like a daddy!"

Random shots...

This was a part that I found while disassembling that CD player a few weeks ago. Tesla patented the AC motor in December 1889. Very little has changed since the initial design.

NIKON... it's what I shoot with ;)

I always tend to see faces in images like this. They are usually in agony. Not sure what that really says about me... but I see then in water, wood, tile, stone... What do the faces look like to you?

A horse is a horse...

...of course... of course... unless that horse is... uhh... copper?

This is my favorite of the many horse statues made for a public arts program in Nassau County a few years ago. Although many were painted this one was covered with pennies. The horses were sold publicly and this one ended up on the fromt lawn of a credit union. The elements are not kind though as you can see the shellac starting to wear and lift.
