At the car show... Day 2 of 5...

A newer feature I've been seeing is painted engines and covers...


...as well as the underside of the hoods.


The owner of this car was telling me that his uncle is Joe Simon; who, along with Jack Kirby created Captain America. He did this as a tribute to him.

Polar Bears... Get set...

The wind blew... (suck it in fellas)


The dragon kept warm... (Wind? What wind?)


And the anticipation for a frigid dip was almost too much to handle! (Let us in already!)

Fuzzy costumes and hats to match...

I attended another meetup this past weekend and witnessed the Polar Bear Club leap into the Long Island Sound just before we got hit by a huge snowstorm. It was for a good cause though. I'll be sharing some pictures over the next few days.

Dragon in the sky...

I don't know if it's because the Olympics are in China... or the fact that I have a Japanese dragon covering half of my arm and feel a bond... but I looked up over the Meadowbrook Parkway on my way to Long Beach to be greeted by this splendor...



Do you see it? This is exactly what I saw. No tricks. No Photoshop™. I added some lines below for those with no imagination ;) It only lasted twenty seconds or so and then nature made it dissipate.
