The itsy-bitsy...

I love how double paned glass creates these shadows.

This big boy created a four foot web just outside my bay window.

It catches a lot of insects... so I let it be.

Keep the mosquito massacre rolling my little friend.

Creepy spider! I have some that build their webs on the porch. They look just like these.

Those are orb weavers; I've been seeing them all over my yard this past month. As long as they keep the webs out my path and keep the flying insects under control, they're welcome. I saw one today that had a giant bumblebee in its web, and since they showed up I haven't seen a single mudwasp. They also tend to scurry to the edge of the web into a tree or eave when they see people, so only the flying bugs need fear them.

WOW those are awesome. I've yet to learn how to get such details in photos. Great series.

This is SOOOOOOOOOO neat!!! I never realized double paned windows would do this! I've got these critters around too, and if they will get rid of the 'skeeters' for me, then I consider them my friends ;-)

Weird looking spider. Most spiders have long outstretched legs.

This one looks cold.
