Melodious tones and other musings...

At the ::a-hem:: "balloon festival"... we saw these two fellows playing a rather mellow and relaxing tune that seemed to last forever. No, really, MCF and I passed them a few times over the course of a few hours and it sounded the same. I think they were hawking CDs with their tunes on it.

The guitar player had the following look on his face the entire time he was playing. A kind of half-smile-squint... and the thought going through his head was probably akin to: "In Guatemala I owned acres of farmland. I had women, money and wine. And then there was that little incident with the machete and 32 unfortunate villagers... and now I play guitar and hawk CDs in America... at the ::a-hem:: "balloon festival"...

I hope you enjoy it more than I did :(

That is a look of defeat and resignation if I ever saw one. Very funny.

The flute player looks like he's trying to remember the rest of that endless song.
