Do you "go with the flow" or take the "not so worn path" in life? I tend to follow the tracks although I sometimes wish I would cross them on occasion. At times, I believe risks need to be taken... but the unknown can be quite a deterrent. When bills need to be paid and the future is spotty that worn path looks mighty inviting.

your train track pic reminds me of one of my favorite movies...the station agent.
I just went to http://thestationagent.com/home.html and was wondering if that is the guy from Nip/Tuck. Then I found it quite comical that they have a "mini-poster" when you buy the DVD.
I'm so going to burn in Hades.
I like this question, because it reflects the way I lead my life as well. I'm a follow-my-own-path person, and I bristle when others try to impose their will on me.
I guess that makes me a really lousy employee :)
On the contrary... I think it would make you a valuable employee. You think differently and open up new ideas and have a different perspective on situations. I feel that I occasionally have that trait as well.
