WIIF #89

First off... Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! And be safe on those streets.

Last week brought us Blondkit10's quick Dog tongue guess as well as Elin's earplug bonus win!

Here is What Is It Friday? #89

Tatman deserves a nice fresh glass of water. Sometimes you gotta' think BIG!

The fine print: On Fridays I will post an image in hopes that visitors will leave a guess in the comment section. The following Friday (or when someone guesses correctly) I will post a wide shot of the item. Each Friday a NEW image, along with a link to the previous weeks post, will be posted.

WIIF #88-B : Pink too!...

Because Blondkit10 is soooooo smart ;) I had to come up with another "WIIF?"! So why don't I give you all another one that is PINK?

Here is What Is It Friday? #88-B : Pink too!

Elin heard through the muffled hints! An earplug it is!

The fine print: On Fridays I will post an image in hopes that visitors will leave a guess in the comment section. The following Friday (or when someone guesses correctly) I will post a wide shot of the item. Each Friday a NEW image, along with a link to the previous weeks post, will be posted.

Problems with blogger?...

I viewed my site from a few PCs today and noticed that text (post date, titles, body copy) seem to drop out unless I roll the cursor over the area. Is it ok for all my viewers or are you missing out on my witty banter? Leave me a comment and let me know... if you can see this, that is. Thanks.

Bursting in anticipation...

Sheep at last...

This past week we traveled to St. Louis for a little vacation as well as the Border Collie National. A one thousand mile drive brought us to Purina Farms, where Ella got to see sheep for the first time in her life and got her Herding Instinct Title as well!

LAH-LAAA-LA-LAH-LA-LAAAAAA...

Gargamel was right! They ARE real!

And I found their berries!

WIIF #87

Laura was right on time for last weeks win.

Here is What Is It Friday? #87

Wendy (No link supplied... so I supplied one) grills this weeks "WIIF?"! It is the thermometer on the BBQ... but her answer is not incorrect :)

Saints or sinners...

The gutters are connected to these faces.

I hope I'm around, one day, during a heavy rain.

That would be some sight.

North...

I have a few more images to share from the church and will post them over the next few days.

It creeps, it leaps, it slides and glides...

Still finding that sweet spot when shooting movement as the sun goes down. This is a mix of movement shots at a high ISO of 1,000 and use of the flash to reduce noise.

Ella naturally has "eye"...

And boy... er... girl can she "creep"...

Back about a year and a half ago...

...I posted this triptych and told about the church being renovated for quite a few years.

This year, the renovations were completed and the scaffolding was removed. Here is the new wonder for all to behold.

Full lot...

I was going to call this post "pulling out" but figured that some might think I was going to stop blogging or referencing some sexual innuendo. Ok, I chuckled when I first wrote that.

The shallow depth of field and saturated colors give this shot a "model" feeling; like something you would see on a toy train set. It also reminds me of a Summer that is now gone.

'Stang show : Sayville, Long Island... Post 3 of 3...

A wonerfully kept Woody and, I believe, it's original owner.

Introducing... REPTILLIAN!!!

This car had tons of extras added by its owner including many parts that light up and glow at night. The owner told me he decided to do so as a safety issue. He wanted this car to be seen day or night... so it wouldn't get hit. I don't blame him one bit.

Just one last thing of beauty.
