I'm not touching you...

Have you ever annoyed somebody by getting REALLY close to them?

Just wondering.

I was always told to never leave angry...

Although... once, I was told to "Just leave!"

It was a slow photo day...

*UPDATE: It may even inspire you! Thanks sealaura and JC!

Saints or sinners...

The gutters are connected to these faces.

I hope I'm around, one day, during a heavy rain.

That would be some sight.

OMG I WENT IN A BALLOON...

It cost me $2 to go into a half blown up balloon so I could take some snappity-snaps. And recently a friend asked if I sell my photos on-line. If anyone wants to reimburse me the two bucks plus some gas money and parking fees I'll send you a high quality print... oh screw it...

Click the top two images for desktop sized images and put some color on your screen.

Oh yeah, to top off the day we got to go in the slightly constipated balloon.

California... Day 5... Part 1 of 2...

On our last day of shows Chance was looking as regal as ever.

After the show... Cayenne asked her older brother if they should play "bitey-face".

And Chance decided they shall. This went on for a good ten minutes.

In case I confused anyone, we call Chance "the wag" and "Waggy" because his tail goes "flip-flip-flip-flip-flip" when he is happy.

Wag and his cousin Phoebe used the fountain for a family photo op.

And Wag's younger sister, Cayenne, figured it was a nice shot... so why not :)

Although the sky was gray by the show grounds, it was beautiful just forty minutes away at Huntington Beach.

This beach is famous for its surf and the competitions that are held here. I had no idea how close to the shore the drilling rigs were.

The pier is a main attraction but the Wag was not welcomed by local police. When will they realize that if my dogs are not welcome then my money must not be welcome either?

Click the below image for a panorama of the main strip. The red curb on the right and left ar connected and that road stretches along the shore.

Ok, what would a vacation be without food? We had fantastic burritos and margaritas. I finally got to eat at both Jack-in-the-Box and In-Out burger. JITB was delicious and IO was on par with Long Island's very own All American.

But we took a chance (no pun intended) and tried Papa Joe's Pizza. You have to remember that I'm from NY and I love my NY pizza... but, it was actually quite good! And not only did I like it...

But my wife liked it...

And so did the Wag!

Remember... where I go, my dog goes... and if you say no, I'll spend my ducketts elsewhere. The trip rounds out tomorrow. See you then...

Curbside garden and a bitey face game...

I wonder if she was praying for me...

Ella LOVES to play the bitey face game. She makes such a display of moaning/growling/barking (all in fun though) and rolls around with maws wide open and the occasional friendly nip. She does this with her big brother, her litter mates when she can visit them and her master (me) as well... and yes, I bite back ;)

Face in the crowd

10 bodies... 9 faces... someone is shy :)

Hugs...

And Kisses!

Priceless

You get his legs, I'll get his arms. Orange, you're on face rubs.

I've been sick...

And durings these days that I have spent inside I have wanted to experiment with a few self portraits and experiment with the images a bit. I tend to like to "show what I see" in my photographs. Other than a few minor tweaks to contrast and white balance the images are what they are.

With these I have drained the color saturation or adjusted the hue. I cropped a few to make them more dramatic. I hope you enjoy them and please leave feedback.
