WIIF #99

Last week, Rachel solved the riddle and found a tasty treat.

Here is What Is It Friday? #99

Laura took a stab in the dark!

The fine print: On Fridays I will post an image in hopes that visitors will leave a guess in the comment section. The following Friday (or when someone guesses correctly) I will post a wide shot of the item. Each Friday a NEW image, along with a link to the previous weeks post, will be posted.

I had not seen those! But thanks for the link! I have to go through them when I have more time... but why isn't mine there? ;)

Is it a key? I can totally see that... but nope! Good guess!

I agree with my coworker John that it's the head of a screw. Possibly a hex head screw that is most commonly used on computer cases.

b13 said...

Nope, John and Tatman are both wrong.

Looks like a corner of some kind in the lower right hand corner. Hmmmm.

Is it a coaster?

Is it part of a trim or railing?

(Funny that someone asked if it was part of a revolver. That was my first guess. It reminded me of a trigger.)

It's not a part of a gun... but interesting line of thought. Keep thinking.

Most of the world's countries have one related to their culture and history.

The part you see rhymes with a famous painter.

Laura "got the point"! The piece I have shown is the "ricasso" and it is indeed a knife!
