A mother's love...
You may remember the tale of little pink pig... but as of late we have also encountered "little blue bear head." Now, he was in hiding on this day but that didn't stop them from tugging on...
"headless blue bear!"
If it has appendages... we will tug them.
Oh where, oh where has my little head gone?
Could it be under the couch?
Another thing we have noticed of late is that Devon will go to the water dish and get a LOOOOOOOONG drink of water... before walking over to her son or daughter and giving an intense ear cleaning.
"Oh, that feels gooooood!"
"Right-there-right-there-right-there-right..."
"...THERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE!"
I wasn't joking when I said a DEEP cleaning.
And Ella is quite content.

Polar Bears... Stragglers...
I have to admit... He was actually the first one in. Brave little kid!
"Hands up, baby hands up, Give me your heart,
gimme gimme your heart, Gimme gimme"
This little piggy went to the freezer..."
I know I dropped my phone right... about... here...
All joking aside. These are the lingerers. They hung out in the water and splashed around for a while and then it got too cold for me (and I was in a coat and hat)!
I wonder if I made the local news?
And this concludes the Polar Bear plunge!

Just kidding to all. What these people did was for a great cause and quite a bit of cash was raised for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. Tomorrow you'll see the remaining shots from the event and a few loony stragglers that must take cold showers all year to prepare for the plunge.

Santa is always ready for a good cause and a good cooling.
The crowd began to gather just before 1:30 in the afternoon.
