Jerry knows his kibble ;) but what do I bring forth now? Also, please read the kibble post below.
Here is What Is It Friday? #23v2.0 Bonus Round
Jeff didn't turn a blind eye to that quick win. Maybe next weeks will be tougher. I'm off to see "spiderpig."
The fine print: On Fridays I will post an image in hopes that visitors will leave a guess in the comment section. The following Friday (or when someone guesses correctly) I will post a wide shot of the item. Each Friday a NEW image, along with a link to the previous weeks post, will be posted.
Last week...Jaime Dawn got the win... but we can't forget that Wendy who's guess was "spot on" received the assist.

Way to go Jerry! Remember: If it says "Animal by-product" or "Animal protein" or "Animal fat" it is most likely road kill or animal remains (stuff that can't be identified) used for protein.
When looking for a food we try to have the first ingredient be a meat that can be identified... "Lamb, Beef, Chicken" followed by ingredients that humans would consume, such as rice or barley (no wheat or soy).
This kibble happened to be Purina Pro-plan and I do not recommend it :( *blech
We feed Solid Gold twice a day with biscuits and carrots in-between. If more calories are needed we go with Wellness. Also, we only give rawhide that was produced in the USA. Don't want no "mad-cow-hide" in my house. Target has a good three pack of natural rolled rawhide (don't give them that crumbled kind) in store... but I don't see it on their website. Be sure to look for "American Rolled Rawhide" and spread the knowledge.

My wife and I took a stroll and came across this contraption in the field of our local Jr. High School. A sign warned us not to go on the equipment and that it would be considered trespassing.
My first thought was, "I want to climb that thing!" Then I thought, "If I was ten years younger I would have climbed it without even thinking that."
Then she said out loud, "Who in their right mind would let their kid on that?"
I explained that it looks like there are holds and cables where clips would go to secure a climber as they progress upward and over. I would have had a field day in high school and college. She, on the other hand, said if her kid came home and said they had done that she would have complained to the school.
I think we are getting too overprotective of our kids. With bike helmets and padding... I'm sorry, but I never used any of that junk as a kid. I took my fair share of spills... had a few scraps, cuts, and bruises... but come on already. They make these laws so that the industry can make a fortune on helmets IMO.
And to those that will say, "Well you don't have any kids so you don't know..." Sorry, but I was one, and a very active one at that... so I know... and my kids will know the type of fun I enjoyed as a child.
Three images of the same subject; large enough for a desktop or screen saver. I'll try to get one or two images up each week that Ithink will look good as a desktop. And if anyone wants a specific image for a desktop that was previously posted... just drop a comment and I'll get a larger format uploaded.
What will this week bring? Here is What Is It Friday? #22
Jaime Dawn gets the win... but we can't forget Wendy who's guess was "spot on"... *crickets
Way to go ladies :D
The heads kinda float and sway from the neck. I should have taken a short video.

Some days may have one... others may have two... but these will be 1024 x 768 pixels at 72dpi. That means if you click on the image and open the bigger version, you can save them to your computer and they will look wonderful as desktops or screen savers.
Thank you for the feedback and I hope you have enjoyed these images throughout the week. I will most likely try this again in the future as images become available that I think will make good screens.
Check back tomorrow for a WIIF that I feel is very hard. (And the way things usually go, it will be guessed right away.)

This started with my wife putting together the first half of the video and the computer crashing... corrupting the file she worked on... I put it together again and added the second half. Turn on your speakers and ENJOY.

Starting today I have 5 days of desktop images. Enjoy :)
Today I was a party to karma. My wife and I walked to a street fair and on the way I found a cell phone. I called a few of the numbers in the address book including "home" and "negra sister". I was greeted by Spanish speaking individuals... all of which were insistant that it must be some mistake. Negra sister called the phone back realizing it was her brothers and we arranged a pick up at the fair.
Not a minute after I hung up... my wife spots a $10 bill on the floor which we spent on a gyro and a funnel cake :)
Oh, and over the next four days I may be invading your desktops... if you'll allow me. I have (UPDATE) eight scenic images saved at 1024x768 pixels and will post them over the next few days. If you like them, feel free to download them and use for desktop or screen savers. Let me know if you like them or not and I will do more in the future if it turns out to be a hit :)

We took a weekend trip to the Baltimore and surrounding areas of Maryland. On the way we saw a Mustang on a Yukon... ok it was a small mustang.
Then we saw a van converted into... something...
Heading into Baltimore...
I had to take a few shots in the tunnel.
We found the town of Ellicott and had a fantastic lunch. We found some small shops and antique dealers along the main road. I climbed a rock and named it my own!
Then climbed down when I realised it wasn't that stupendous. My wife took these shots.
Some of the buildings were built right over streams that run through the town.
Near a tattoo parlor we found this awesome ride.
The town is mountainous and most buildings had steep staircases up thin alleyways.
As we were leaving town my wife spotted this school.
It was not open but we were able to look around...
...and through the windows. There were wild raspberries everywhere and we helped ourselves to a few. They were a bit tart but tasty.
We went to "The Crab Shanty" and got the BEST crab cakes in Maryland. On the way, we saw this deer getting a nosh on the side of the road. He would take a few mouthfuls then leap away. When it looked safe enough it would come back for more.
Why does youtube video look so crappy lately... when it finally uploads...?
