I really didn't think it was THAT easy... but J.Fargo did.
The fine print: On Fridays I will post an image in hopes that visitors will leave a guess in the comment section. The following Friday (or when someone guesses correctly) I will post a wide shot of the item. Each Friday a NEW image, along with a link to the previous weeks post, will be posted.

OMG! What denomination? one guess...
Looking at the original picture, I would have guessed a $50, so I would have been wrong, but I think the second shot gives it away as a $20.
Don't feel too bad about it being easy for me to tell it was a bill of some kind; I used to study the watermarks and flaws on older bills all the time. The owl, the pyramid, the man in the bushes outside the Lincoln Memorial, etc.
Those lines are ingrained somewhere deep in my soul. :)

what type of lens do you use for those awesome close-ups? Also what kind of camera?
I use a Nikon D80 teamed with a 60mm macro for the close-ups. My others are taken with an 18-200mm lens. The lens is comparable to a 300mm film lens.
