So you took a picture of yourself, then took a picture holding a picture, or someone else took a picture of you holding a picture that you took of you or someone took of you holding a picture of
POP!!
Excuse me, I need to collect bits of my brain now...
VERY cool! My daughter is taking two photography classes right now (one digitial, one film); She is always trying out cool ideas for photos. This is a goodie!
yes Rob :) occasionally I will throw an “enhanced” image up on my page. It is foto-GRAPHIC-a... Is it not?
I took a shot of myself holding a white piece of paper on a timer and tripod. Then, in photoshop, selected the paper and carefully clipped my fingers...saving the selection as a channel. I then duplicated the image and shrunk the new layer to fit the paper. You then take the inverse of the saved channel with a slight feather and delete the excess. Flatten and repeat. You double the image every time...1, 2, 4, 8, 16.

yes, there was a window to the south and it was late in the day. I try to use natural lighting as much as possible.

I don't see how you did that. You should see the camera in the picture, or the corners of the picture should not be so square.
Care to fill us in? Was there any photoshopping involved?
