So, John McCain said, in response to his "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, anyway, ah ..." comment:
"Please, I was talking to some of my old veterans friends."
"My response is, Lighten up and get a life."
Asked if his joke was insensitive, McCain said: "Insensitive to what? The Iranians?" Followed by laughter and a shit eating grin.
Now, MoveOn has an ad that states:
"America has lived through six years of a reckless foreign policy." "We're stuck in Iraq. More than 3,000 Americans are dead. And thousands more wounded."
"Now comes John McCain with his answer to what we should do about Iran. John McCain? We can't afford another reckless president."
You know what? If we were not in Iraq or Afganistan, who's to say there would not have been more attacks on our soil? More attacks that may have killed more than the 3,000 that have fought for our freedom... our safety... our way of life. Our soldiers do their job so that the people at MoveOn can do their job with out being dragged out into the town square and shot for speaking their minds.
Not for nothing, but we have to stop worrying about offending everyone. John McCain may be just what we need. He has my vote. 100%

Damn skippy!
Our soldiers do their job so that the people at MoveOn can do their job with out being dragged out into the town square and shot for speaking their minds.
(applause, applause)
Excellent point. If the Move-On'ers want to find out just how awful America really is, they should try protesting the governments of most of the countries we're engaging on their soil. Or, just conisder the number of Americans who've gone to Iraq to do relief work... honest humanitarians ... who've been routinely kidnapped and/or beheaded. The Move-On'ers despise the one and only form of government that would tolerate them.
Hasn't the world learned from WW2 what happens when you don't confront evil?
And speaking of WW2, if we had applied the "post WW2 Japan" model to Iraq and Afganistan, we wouldn't be having these problems today. Do to the mullahs what they did to Hirohito: Renounce your violent ways, tell your people that you were wrong, and live in a world of prosperity... or die, along with your family, your people, and your sect of your religion. Then follow through.
